Having insight into the current traffic situation is crucial during roadworks and events. Knowing how traffic is flowing and where to intervene helps ensure smooth traffic movement around roadworks or events. The Event Traffic Dashboard assists with this by utilizing various data sources from governments and navigation system users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During events, it\u2019s vital to keep traffic flowing. By effectively monitoring ingress and egress routes and acting swiftly with your scenarios and associated traffic measures, you ensure that event visitors and passersby keep moving. If you combine this with steering capabilities in almost all navigation systems via our Traffic Reportal or the Waze Community, you have a unique set of tools to manage traffic effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, extra congestion can be prevented because incidents within the management area are detected much faster thanks to incident reports from Waze, police, or road managers. This information is displayed in real-time on our dashboard, enabling event organizers, police, or traffic controllers to take immediate action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s possible to expand this dashboard with the \u2018Historical Data\u2019 module. This stores the displayed data for a certain period, allowing trends to be identified and events to be analyzed afterward. This aids in determining future approaches and making policy decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
