We’d like to introduce you to Willemijn van Beek. Willemijn is 26 years old, was born and raised in the Achterhoek region, and lives in the picturesque village of Hoog-Keppel. Her boyfriend lives in Azewijn, and together they make the most of the great outdoors. Sitting still isn’t Willemijn’s thing: she’s sporty, loves riding her motorbike, and prefers to spend as much time outdoors as possible.

Her career began in the hotel and events industry, a logical step following her degree in Hotel Management. “I really enjoyed working there,” says Willemijn, “but after a few years I realised I was ready for something new.” What was she looking for? More of a challenge and the chance to channel her passion for interacting with people in a different way. She eventually found that at TripService.
Willemijn has been part of the TripService team since early March. In her role, she is responsible for Dutch sales and account management, working closely with Wouter Giesen. “What appeals to me is that here I can combine my commercial side with the personal aspect. It’s not just about selling, but about thinking alongside clients and offering advice.”
What makes her work so enjoyable? “Interacting with people. Engaging in conversation, identifying needs and working together to find a solution that really benefits the customer.” She therefore derives the most satisfaction from relationship-based sales. “If you can make a real impact, that’s what it’s all about.” Trade fairs also energise her: meeting new people and discovering opportunities.
How does she see her future at TripService? “I really feel at home here. It’s a warm and close-knit team, and there are great opportunities for me to develop further.” Her ambition is clear: to further expand and strengthen the Dutch market, so that Wouter has the scope for further international growth.
