Our Wegstatus.nl platform is free to use for anyone who wishes to get to know the possibilities of traffic and mobility data in the Benelux.
The strength of Waze lies in its community, which voluntarily keeps the maps and road layouts up to date. Every user of the Waze app automatically helps keep the information Waze provides to other drivers up to date.
Event Traffic Dashboard
Insight into the ongoing traffic situation is very important whenever there are roadworks or events. Knowing how traffic is moving and the measures needed to direct it helps traffic flow smoothly around roadworks or on the way to events. The Event Traffic Dashboard helps in this respect by drawing on various data sources from governments and navigation system users.
Roadwork Traffic Dashboard
Insight into the ongoing traffic situation is very important whenever there are roadworks or events. Knowing how traffic is moving and the measures needed to direct it helps traffic flow smoothly at roadworks or on the way to events.
Using our Event Traffic Dashboard or Roadwork Traffic Dashboard, we can display all kinds of linked data sources, giving the user clear insight into the situation on the road and the traffic flow along pre-set routes.
How do you inform visitors to an area or event about their travel options so that you can guide their travel behaviour? The Mobility Portal makes this possible. Entering a starting point (e.g. the user’s current location) and a destination (e.g. an event, an attraction or a city centre) immediately produces a list of all travel options.
Realtime Traffic Update
Whether on a website, on TV or on the radio, we always have the most up-to-date traffic information that can be accessed on any channel you wish. By working with Waze and location data from the NDW (National Database Road Traffic Data) and the VVC (Flemish Traffic Centre), we can generate a highly accurate and detailed Traffic Update for the Netherlands and Flanders.
Incident Route Dashboard
Emergency services want to get to incidents as quickly and as safely as possible. When a call comes in from the control centre, it is important that the emergency services know the fastest and safest route to the scene. This is why we have developed the Incident Route Dashboard.
