Xouba is a Spanish data analytics and consulting company focused on making roads safer and more efficient. The company combines expertise in road infrastructure with data science and uses connected vehicle data to provide road authorities with valuable insights into road safety, mobility and road maintenance.

In Utrecht, on 10 July 2026, the speed limit on 272 streets was reduced from 50 to 30 km/h. TripService submitted the changes in advance to Waze, Google Maps, TomTom and Apple Maps, but not all the updates were visible straight away. This project illustrates why digital map updates take time and how important monitoring, follow-up and direct contact with navigation providers are.
