Collaboration TripService & Zuid-Holland Bereikbaar

Period: 2025
Client: Zuid‑Holland Bereikbaar

Challenge

During major roadworks at the Drechttunnel (Jan – Apr 2025) and Rozenbrug (Jan – May 2025), Zuid-Holland Bereikbaar was looking for a way to monitor congestion and incidents at a glance – including data for post-project evaluation.

Our approach

We set up the Roadwork Traffic Dashboard with:

  1. Real-time delay monitoring on all diversion routes (Waze FCD).
  2. A history module that stores all data 24/7 for in-depth analysis.
  3. An incident logbook to record road authority actions and incidents.

Result

  • Faster detection of congestion.
  • Reduced travel time loss during peak hours.
  • A complete data file for evaluation reports, including comparisons of ‘old versus new traffic scenarios’.

Our perspective

In the coming quarters, we are strongly committed to further developing the Roadwork Traffic Dashboard. We will incorporate feedback from Zuid-Holland Bereikbaar and other clients. A key focus will be on expanding the historical module and adding advanced analytical capabilities.
