Collaboration TripService & Schiphol

Period: 2024 – present
Client: Schiphol

Our collaboration with Schiphol has been running smoothly and effectively for several years. Together, we make sure that road users in and around Schiphol always have access to the most up-to-date traffic information. Thanks to our close coordination, both temporary and permanent changes are implemented quickly and accurately in the most widely used navigation systems: Google Maps, Waze, Apple Maps, and TomTom. This ensures safety and traffic flow around Schiphol remain at the highest level.

What sets this collaboration apart is the speed and accuracy with which map updates are processed. With direct lines to navigation partners and continuous daily monitoring, we’re able to quickly remove all (illegal) taxi pins around Schiphol. We also succeeded in getting the Buitenvelderttunnel—crucial for Schiphol’s accessibility—accurately restored in navigation systems, reducing unnecessary detours and misrouting to a minimum.

“Thanks to TripService, we have a firm grip on the traffic situation around Schiphol. They respond quickly, think proactively, and ensure the right information is in the right place at the right time. That’s incredibly valuable to us.”

– Denise Baas, Digital Process Developer Schiphol

Our partnership goes beyond just updating maps. We actively share our knowledge and keep Schiphol informed about the latest possibilities within the navigation landscape.

We look back on a pleasant and professional collaboration in which we’ve delivered visible results for travelers. We’re proud to have earned the trust to continue delivering our “Traffic Reportal” service in the coming years.

Our goal remains: ensuring the right information is available at the right time for every road user.
