For the roadworks on the A2 motorway at Deil-Empel, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management (Rijkswaterstaat) asked us to help keep road users informed. In collaboration with Rijkswaterstaat and Using Waze, Google Ads, Facebook and Instagram, we were able to show a range of static and dynamic information. Consequently, local and through traffic were reached and provided with messages about the roadworks and diversion routes.

One of the special features of this project was that a bridge was open to local traffic only. Using an effective target audience selection, we were able to forward this message to the right people over a range of social media and other channels. In total, almost 700,000 notifications were shown.

The sentiment analysis indicated that the messaging system was highly effective and regarded positively.
